1986 Suzuki RG500 Gamma. The last of the 500cc street 2 strokes. This is the rare Wolfer Wolf version.
The RG500 Gamma was one of the fastest bikes of its time. Even today the power of this square 4 two stroke engine can humble bigger machines of larger displacement.

Truly a beautiful Machine
A Fox fully adjustable shock is used on the rear. The front suspension runs the Race-Tech fork modification. 330mm PM rotors and PM 4 piston calibers help stop this rocket.

A real head turner
Custom made steel braided lines are used on the front and rear with an AP Lockhart front master cylinder. Daytona steering damper is use. Damper is a necessity on this hard acceletating light weight 2 stroke. |

What lies underneath?
An all aluminum frame is used. Individual Air filter are installed with bigger needle seat and larger main jets. All harden aliuminun spockets and a Regina 520 chain are installed.

The RG500 Gamma
Wolf Racing pipes are used to open up the power. Only 50 set of these light weight pipes were ever made. They have a unique power delivery. They hit hard on the power around 7,800rpm's and then hit again even harder at 9,500rpm's. The motor will pull to 12,000rpm's. Other than the pipes and carburetor changes, the motor is stock and never been apart. It was plenty of power like this. |
